This past Saturday, Stephen, Fia and I moved in to our new home. It is a small apartment, about 880 square feet, and we love it! Many of my friends have recently moved into smaller homes for various reasons- and I'd like to start a discussion on this blog about small living. What tricks to you have for living in a small space? What are your biggest challenges? Why do you like/dislike it? What do you do to make your house feel like your home? Finally, why are you living in a small place? Choice, necessity, conviction? Looking forward to hearing your answers.

Our home is about 900 sq ft. The space is just right for our family of 3. We can hear each other no matter where we are in the house, the utilities are less and not wasted, there is less to clean. We do rely on our storage space above the carport, though.
