Fia had a doctor's appointment today- she gained 15 ounces! Pre-parenthood I never would have been very impressed by this number, but it is quite a good amount for just 7 days! When she was born she was 6 lbs, 3 ounces, and then she lost some of that weight (which is normal.) Today the nurse at the doctor's office pronounced her 6 lbs, 9 ounces. Yipee. Plus, she grew 1/4 an inch. The doctor actually used the term "porker." I don't think we need to go that far.
